Who I Am

I’m Greg Harrod and my goal is to lead with kindness and confidence and help you do the same.

I’m also a leader who is learning and striving to get better myself. By practicing what I’m teaching, I’m improving every day.

I’ve been at it for over 30 years in my career, my community, my church, and my family. It’s been my privilege to serve in multiple roles in several countries with teams and organizations ranging from major corporations to those with just a few team members.

My experience and the people I’ve worked with have taught me a lot. Now I want to share what I’ve learned with you.

What I’ve Learned

One of the most important things I’ve learned is this.

Leaders can care deeply about their teammates as fellow human beings and still deliver exceptional results for their organizations.

The idea that a leader has to be a jerk to motivate a team is just not true. If you’re tempted to believe that lie, please don’t.

There’s a better way to lead.

I want to share with you what I know about leading with kindness so you can stop being timid or even embarrassed to show you care for the people on your teams. You can confidently live out your values and still be successful.

Regardless of our role in an organization, we are all important and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.

My Approach

This illustration captures my approach to the content I create and the products and services I offer.

I want to help you build your career and your business starting with a foundation of leading with kindness and confidence.

This leadership philosophy influences every part of my business. Whether in one-on-one coaching sessions with you or during our consulting conversations to improve and build your business, you’ll hear me reference kindness and caring for people.

While I help you turn your business chaos into order by showing you how to improve your meetings and introduce processes and structure you need, I’ll make sure you never lose sight of taking care of the most valuable asset in your business – your people.

Even during coaching sessions designed to build your personal career, we’ll keep the idea of serving others as a confident leader in the forefront of our discussions.

If you’re learning from me through my courses or the content I publish in my newsletter, my blog page, or on LinkedIn, you’ll recognize this familiar theme. The same is true if you’re listening to my podcast.

My Connect Mobilize Deliver podcast will help you boost your career by mastering fundamental career skills.

And, the Connect Mobilize Deliver framework is an integral part of all I do. Read more about the Connect Mobilize Deliver framework in this blog post.

If you follow me on LinkedIn (click here and ring the bell to follow me if you don’t already!), you know I post each weekday around 7 am Central.

Every day I give you tips on how you can make your meetings productive, effective, and even ENJOYABLE!

Bad meetings ruin employee morale. They waste people’s time and company resources in businesses around the world. So, I’m building a global movement to Stop Bad Meetings!

There’s no better place than your business meetings for you to lead with kindness and confidence while Connecting People, Mobilizing them for Action, and Delivering Results.
